Alexandre Vauthier’s ‘11 Summer Collection.
The former law student and Alexandre Vauthier sharpened his fashion designer sword by working closely with Jean Paul Gaultier on his Haute Couture Collection seemed to pick up more than sewing machine skills. Showing how sophisticated silk can be accentuating and the feminine silhouette with clean lines and the softness of draping. The ultra feminine collection doesn’t shy away from accentuating curves with carefully detailed mesh cut outs, high waisted gold belts, and tantalizing slits leading all way up where the sun don’t shine!
Vauthier is well known for his artistic juxtaposition of elegant fashion and female sexuality which is a clear depiction in this spring/summer 2011 collection.
