Lana Del Rey - "National Anthem" ft. ASAP Rocky

After a much anticipated wait, Lana Del Rey releases her official video for “National Anthem” off of her debut album Born to Die. The seven-minute short film features A$AP Rocky who plays U.S. President John F. Kennedy, while Lana Del Rey plays the very iconic Jacqueline Kennedy, shown as the power couple whom display such love and affection that many people wish for. This is also a controversial video for some due to the interracial relationship many still look down upon. I personally commend her for having such intense messages. Enjoy the video, and let me know your thoughts.

A Week With Marilyn, a movie based on the story of the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, which starred Marilyn Monroe & Laurence Olivier, the film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark, after her husband, Arthur Miller, left the country.

Starring Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, Eddie Redmayne, Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, Toby Jones, Geraldine Somerville, Zoë Wanamaker, Dame Judi Dench; the film will have its world premiere at the New York Film Festival.

An inaugural moment for Monroe fans all over the world.

The movie is due to release in the US, November 4th and November, 18th for the UK

The season of hot chocolate is approaching and it’s time to put a little spice on that coco. Don’t get the menu drinks that’s for amateurs and they’re boring. Put some excitement in your life. Some of these drinks have less calories compared to the ones on the menu and some have a lot less. Not only that also save a few bucks.

The Short Cappuccino: A cheaper, better cappuccino served in a smaller eight-ounce cup. This is a more European-size portion of the drink without the extra milk most baristas use to fill the tall cups. Most foodies agree that a proper cappuccino should be one part espresso, one part steamed milk and one part foam.

Disclaimer: A tall cappuccino consists of 1 shot of Espresso, half milk, half foam. NO SWEETENER ADDED, unless specified. but you already knew that.

Biscotti Frappuccino: buy an individual biscotti and ask your barista to blend it into any Frappuccino drink for a crunchy treat.
Red Eye: a shot of espresso in regular drip coffee
Black Eye: two shots of espresso in regular drip coffee
Green Eye: three shots of espresso in regular drip coffee (with a side of insomnia and serious heart palpitations)
Poor Man’s Latte: order an Iced Americano with no water and half ice, then pour in your own half-and-half at the condiments station; the result is a Breve Latte for a fraction of the cost.
Chocolate Cream Frappuccino: a Frappuccino made with chocolate syrup and creme Frappuccino base

They have an intense orange flavor, a few seeds, and are in season December through July.

Blood oranges have this scarlet hints because they carry anthocyanins/ They are flavonoid pigments that are more commonly found in red and purple fruits and vegetables that can protect the human body from many diseases and are very beneficial to human health. Although anthocyanins are uncommon in citrus fruits, blood oranges are an exception.

These blood oranges are used just like the more common oranges. The moro blood orange has almost no seeds and it’s the reddest due to the anthocyanins. They are know as the anti-aging oranges.

It’s always good to know how to do something as simple as fastening a bow.

How To Tie A Bow-tie

1. Adjust the tie’s length so it fits your neck size.

2. Lift up your collar and put the tie around your neck so the ends hang down in front. One end should hang about one and one-half inches lower than the other.

3. Bring the longer end across, behind and over the shorter end, forming a simple knot. Pull the knot snugly around your neck.

4. Fold the shorter end where the hourglass shape begins to narrow (the widest point of the shorter end), forming a bow shape. The bow shape should be in front. Hold the bow in a horizontal position at your neck.

5. Bring the longer end over and in front of the shorter end.

6. Fold the longer end where the hourglass shape begins to narrow, forming a second bow.

7. Bring the second bow under the first bow.

8. Tuck it into the space behind the first bow.

9. Adjust the shape of the two bows.

In commemoration of what would have been Amy Winehouse’s 28th birthday the complete music video for her duet with jazz singer Tony Bennett was released. “Body and Soul”. Single from Tony Bennett’s upcoming compilation album entitled Duets II, available in stores September 20th.

“Body and Soul”, became the final recording Amy ever made before her passing on July 23rd of this year.

She looks better than ever; Amy’s legacy will last many lifetimes. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.

The proceeds of this song will go to Amy Winehouse Foundation.
